The compose screen can be accessed by selecting 'Compose Email' from the Message List Menu, by choosing to reply or forward a email message, or open a partially completed draft message.

By default the To, CC, Subject and Body fields are show for editing.

• If you are replying to a message the To and CC fields will be pre-populated with the original sender and recipients. The subject will be similarly pre-populated.

• If you are forwarding a message the subject will be pre-populated, but the original message content and any attachments will be added by the server before sending to the recipients.

• If you have a signature defined it will be added to the message body.

You can add a new recipient by placing the cursor on the first free TO or CC line and starting to type their name or email address. AstraSync will supply suggestions from your device contacts as you type.

To select a suggested contact highlight it and press the fire button.

You can add a contact from the Company Directory by selecting 'Company Directory' from the menu and searching for their name. (This feature is not supported by all servers)

You can add as many recipients as you like, one per line. You can choose to BCC a contact by choosing 'Add Bcc' from the menu.

The compose menu also allows you to add attachments to the message or set it as high or low priority.

Once you have completed your message choose 'Send' from the menu to send it, or choose 'Save as Draft' to save it to your drafts folder for future editing.
