Pressing the Menu (BlackBerry) key while
composing a message list brings up a menu with message options as well as default BlackBerry options including 'Check Spelling'.
- Send
Send the Message to the defined recipients. If no valid network connection is available when you send a message it will be stored in the Outbox and automatically sent when AstraSync reconnects to the network.
- Add To
Add an additional 'To:' line.
- Add Cc
Add an additional 'Cc:' line.
- Add Bcc
Add an additional 'Bcc:' line.
- Add Attachment
Display the device file store to allow you to select a file to attach to the email.
Note: Due to an issue with the BlackBerry OS you will be prompted for permission each time you expand or open a folder in this dialog.
- Save as Draft
Save the message as a draft in the Drafts folder.
- Message Priority
Set the message as Low, Normal or High priority.
- Company Directory
Bring up a screen to search the Company Directory for a contact. (This feature is not supported by all servers)
- Close
Close the compose screen and abandon the message.
