Diagnostics Settings

AstraSync contains the capability to write a diagnostic log to assist support representatives in troubleshooting issues.

The Diagnostics option writes a log directly to our servers. There will not be any logs written to the device itself.



If you are instructed by technical support to enable Diagnostics then you should:



• Load AstraSync, go to Menu > Options > Diagnostics Settings.
• Select the option that says 'Enable Diagnostics'
• Hit Menu > Save
• Recreate the error.
• One the error has been recreated, turn off Diagnostics. Go back into Diagnostics Settings and uncheck the option 'Enable Diagnostics'
• Hit Menu > Save
• Send an email to support@astrasync.com to notify support that you have completed these steps. Include the username and domain that you have specified in AstraSync and also a breif description of the issue

The Diagnostics can result in the transmission of large data over the cellular network. You should ensure you turn the Diagnostics off once you have finished.
