The
folders message list menu item brings up the AstraSync folders management screen. From this screen you can:
- View messages in another synchronized folder
Highlight the folder you wish to view and select 'Open' from the menu or press the fire key to view its contents.
Pressing the 'Back' button will return you to the folder list, pressing it again will return you to the default inbox.
If the folder you wish to view is not listed you have to add it to the synchronization list as follows.
- Define which folders are synchronized to your device
Select Manage Folders from the menu to access a full list of folders available on the server for syncing. Place a tick next to those folders you wish to sync to the device for easy access.
Messages from the period defined in the Email Options in the selected folders will be synced with the device. These folders will also be updated when a manual or automatic sync occurs. Any new unread message in the synced folders will trigger a new message alert.
Note You can move a message to any folder on the server including those which you are not syncing with the device.
- View and manage the device Outbox and Drafts folders
AstraSync allows you to save partially composed messages as drafts to resume editing them later. You can view your draft messages and resume editing by selecting the Drafts folder.
Should a valid network connection not be available when you send a message it will be stored in the Outbox and automatically sent when AstraSync reconnects to the network. You can confirm if a message has been sent and cancel unsent message by viewing the Outbox folder.
