Selecting Multiple Messages

Select the menu item 'Multi-Select On'. A drop down menu will appear at the top of the message list allowing the selection mode to be changed between "Multi Select" and "Group Select".

"Multi Select" allows the selection of messages, one at a time, by selecting the message as though to open it. The message row background changes color to indicate that it is now selected.

"Group Select" allows the selection of a range of messages. Selecting one message marks the start of the range, and selecting a second message marks the end of the range - all messages in the range will become selected.

Changing between Multi and Group select modes allows the selection to be easily refined.

Turning off the selection mode, by choosing the menu option "Multi Select Off", reverts all messages to an unselected state.

Keyboard shortcuts can be used to change between Multi and Group select. Using the shortcut for the current selection mode is the same as choosing the "Multi Select Off" menu option.
