Back to OptionsThe Security settings dialog allows you to set a device inactivity lock timeout and password.
The requirement for this password may be enforced by your email server administrator. Similarly the administrator may enforce a maximum inactivity period and minimum password complexity specification.
To turn the password lock on or off check or un-check the 'Enable Inactivity Lock' option. This option may not be available if your email administrator requires the inactivity lock to be active.
You can set or change your password in the password specification box.
If you are changing any option or disabling the inactivity lock you will have to enter your current (old in the case of changing passwords) password in order to save the changes.
